Sniffari Dog Walks

Do you need a dog walker while you're away at work?
Do you want your dog to be calmer, healthier and better behaved when on walks?

Sniffari walks are mentally and physically stimulating, help your dog decompress and calm down. Our walks will improve your dog's welfare, behaviour and well-being by using their senses to investigate the environment. Your dog has 300 million olfactory cells in their nose, so going for a SNIFFARI walk will help your dog slow down and truly "smell the roses". After the walk we will create enrichment using toys you have on hand like a KONG or snuffle mat so your dog won't be bored or destructive when we leave. Your dog will be actively involved in their enrichment and much calmer when you arrive home from work, not like coming home to a Tasmanian devil in dog form.

PRICES & SERVICES

WFA only offers 1-to-1 SNIFFARI walks of either 30 or 45 minutes.

Time:

Walks are only from 10am until 4pm
If you require a late afternoon (4pm until 7pm) or an early morning, (8am-9am) we will charge $10 extra
No walks after 5pm or before 8am unless previously agreed upon

Little Sniff

3 walks for 45 minutes/walk

5 walks for 45 minutes/walk

10 walks for 45 minutes/walk

Equipment

Safety for your dog is paramount on our walks. For that reason, we have a Do's and Don'ts of equipment.

DO'S

- Use a harness and a collar

- Use a regular leash

DON'TS

- Use a choke chain, prong collar, martingale collar, slip leash or head halti

- Use retractable leashes

If you don't have a harness or your dog isn't conditioned (created positive emotions) to a harness let us know and we will work with you for a mini training course.

Extreme Weather

For your dog's safety we won't walk in anything more than +25C or anything below -20C (without wind chill). If you want your dog walked earlier in hot weather or have proper booties and cold weather clothes, contact us and we will work with you to accommodate as necessary and for what is right for your dog's safety and welfare.

We will work with you to offer potty breaks and additional indoor enrichment on extreme weather days.
